The Okanagan Wealth Advisors Pickleball Complex in Vernon’s Marshall Fields will host a heartwarming occasion, collectively bringing dogs and pickleball fans.
The Vernon Pickleball Association (VPA) is gearing up to participate in the province-extensive charity event “Paddle for PADS,” scheduled for Saturday, April 20, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
“Paddle for PADS” ambitions to bring up the budget for the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS), with the VPA joining 25 other pickleball golf equipment across British Columbia to help for this noble reason.
Designed for more modern and leisure gamers, the competition promises a nighttime of friendly suits and community spirit.
Anne Longley, answerable for exposure on the VPA, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming help acquired from nearby corporations and individuals who generously contributed finances and products for the silent auction.
Barb Byrne, the event organizer at VPA, warmly invited everyone to participate or cheer on the gamers, emphasizing the importance of meeting their fundraising goal of $3,000.
Tara Doherty, PADS’s Director of Communications, expressed pride at VPA’s involvement, highlighting their support’s essential and significant impact in raising the finances and awareness for PADS and its life-changing phenomenon to help puppies.
Attendees are encouraged to join the occasion to witness interesting matches and interact with PADS volunteers and their adorable canine companions.
From meal companies offering savory snacks to fun games and raffles, there will be something interesting for everyone to experience at the same time as helping a worthy cause.
Whether you’re a seasoned pickleball player or seeking out an amusing nighttime with family and friends, the Paddle for PADS charity occasion guarantees enjoyment for all who attend.
