East Rochester, NY – Professional pickleball is set to arrive in the Rochester area next summer. The Challenger Series, hosted by the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), will be held at Dinkers Pickleball Campus on Despatch Drive in East Rochester.
“With pickleball rapidly growing in popularity nationwide, we are excited to host this event, which is expected to bring thousands of spectators and pickleball players to the Rochester area,” Don Jeffries, president & CEO of Visit Rochester, said in a statement.
The series offers an opportunity for rising talent and amateur players to demonstrate their skills and potentially advance to the professional pickleball circuit.
Participants will also compete for a prize pool of $10,000.
The tournament is scheduled to run from Friday, June 27, to Sunday, June 29, with tickets yet to be made available for purchase.

- Saturday: Gender doubles
- Sunday: Mixed doubles
