Guilford, CT – Pickleball enthusiasts will be able to get some extra outdoor matches. Thanks to new portable nets added to the tennis courts at Guilford High School.
According to the town, the nets were newly placed at the school’s lower tennis courts.
The nets are portable, which makes them easily rolled out to the court to play pickleball.
“Staff ask if you utilize the nets, please put back against the fence,” the town said in a Facebook post.
Pickleball is considered to be the most popular and fastest-growing sport in America. According to The Pickleball Professionals, the 55+ year age number increases to 50%, and the gender of males rises to 60%, where females are 50%.
