Larry Lam after immigrating to the USA from Vietnam after the war. He was asked by one of his out-of-town friends to have a ride to a pickleball tournament after a long time ago. It did not take much time to watch, try it out himself, and get stuck.
Mr Lam is now the best and strongest recreational player with a 5.0 rating. His children, Kody,13, Jaden, 15, and Karina,10. Took home 7 medals from the 2023 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships powered by invited and PPA Tour.
Jaden won 3 medals, sweeping the Junior divisions with his siblings. Karina also won Junior Girls Singles and took in Junior Girls Doubles. The family is considering making the sport a more significant part of their future.
