The 2024 USA Pickleball Select Series – Gulf Coast is a tournament organized by USA Pickleball, held in the Gulf Coast area.
This series includes tournaments for players of various skill levels and ages, offering a chance for participants to compete, enhance their abilities, and enjoy the sport in a competitive but welcoming atmosphere.
It forms part of a broader series of tournaments hosted at different venues.
Match Rules
- USAP rules will be used.
- The player’s UTPR will be used for determining skill level.
- This tournament will use a Round Robin/Pool Play format for all events.
- Events with 3 teams or less will be combined with another event. Events with 4-7 teams will play a Round Robin with Playoffs.
- Players should play 3 matches minimum.
- Events with 8 or more teams will use a Pool Play with Playoffs format.
- Round Robin and Pool Play matches will be 1 game to 15 points, win by 2.
- Round Robin events will have the top 4 teams move forward to the Playoff round.
- Pool Play events will have the top 2 teams from each pool move forward to the Playoff Round.
- Playoff and Pre-Medal matches will be 1 game to 15 points, win by 2.
- All Medal matches will best 2 out of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2.
