AZ, United States – The amateur divisions for the 2024 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships, taking place Nov. 9-17 at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Arizona, have officially reached full capacity with 2,400 athletes registered.
Mike Nealy, CEO of USA Pickleball, expressed excitement over the turnout, stating, “The number of players registered is a true reflection of pickleball’s rapid growth. Our team is fully committed to delivering an outstanding event, ensuring that athletes have an unforgettable experience competing at the highest levels.”
Since registration is at full capacity, a lottery will not be used this year. Athletes on the waitlist may still be added to the main draw until the event begins, depending on availability.
However, registration remains open for the Professional, Wheelchair, and Junior divisions, with the deadline set for Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. PST. Spots are limited, and athletes are encouraged to register promptly to secure their participation.
This year’s competitors will enjoy various perks, including a premium pickleball gift, an aluminum bag tag, a commemorative USA Pickleball Nationals pin, and exclusive partner giveaways.
Athletes and their guests can also expect an exciting spectator experience, engaging events both on and off the court, free practice courts, several partner activations, various food and beverage options, and access to an all-player hospitality lounge. The 2024 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships will host divisions ranging from Junior to 80+, including adaptive events. USA Pickleball members earned their spots by qualifying in Golden Ticket events.
