Age-appropriate training sessions, wellness activities, and opportunities to connect are the crux of these retreats.

Pickleball camps for kids offer a fun and educational introduction to the game. Led by certified instructors, these camps provide age-friendly instruction, drills, and games that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Kids can hone their skills (pickleball and other valuable ones) in a supportive and encouraging environment, making new friends and staying active.

1. Rise Pickleball Camps

Headed by a US Open and USAPA National gold medalist, Rise Pickleball Camps trains players in different scenic locations.

Rise Pickleball Camps

Rob Davidson, Rise’s director of instruction (and owner), is a seasoned pro of the sport and is also one of the first people to be certified by the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA).

He started instructing professionally in 2016 and has since adopted the role full-time. Davidson’s skill level is 5.0, making him among the few people with exceptional sports mastery.

Davidson has an impressive record as a professional player, and he draws from his experiences to teach his students. This is a pickleball camp for adults who are not strictly starters. Davidson’s sessions require a preliminary and basic understanding of the game, its rules, and scoring, in particular.

Rise Pickleball camps travel the country to meet pickleball enthusiasts from different parts to improve their gameplay and establish standardized performances for players at different skill levels. This is why Davidson and the Camp are always open to requests to conduct sessions in different regions of the country.

The Rise team is touring multiple locations over the next few months, including Montana, California, and a few dates in Arizona. A typical camp lasts two days. You can book a slot for a camp closest to you or contact them to consider holding one near you. They always respond back.

2. Engage Pickleball

You must wonder why a sporting goods provider is on our pickleball camp list. Not only does Engage Pickleball host three-day long training camps, but they’re also some of the best at it.

Engage Pickleball

The company is already doing well as a paddle manufacturer that engineers exceptional products, so it’s hard to associate it with another business venture.

However, its training camps are visited and revisited by many people who sing praises of their time with them.

Unlike Rise, which has the star power of Davidson, who heads instructions there, Engage Pickleball has multiple instructors as a pickleball camp for kids, adults, and seniors.

In that sense, Engage Pickleball’s camps cater to people of all skill levels and ages. The camps are categorized across skill levels: Beginner, Beginner Plus, Intermediate, Intermediate Plus, and Advanced.

Engage Pickleball also hosts camps all over the country, and you can reserve a spot for any of the upcoming camps.

It’s important to note that Engage Pickleball doesn’t have a headline instructor with their mark in the professional arena; it still employs teachers with vigorous criteria focused on teaching styles, soft and technical skills, years of experience, review, etc.

With such attention to detail and the continuous arrival of splendid reviews, it’s safe to recommend Engage Pickleball to anyone who wants to visit a pickleball camp.

3. LevelUp Pickleball Camp

Every instructor on the team is a professional player with a 5.0 touring rating. The academy cherry-picks instructors who have earned gold medals in professional competitions across the globe and who are still actively touring.

Instructors who are professional players also bring a practical edge to drilling sessions in pickleball camps.

This ensures participants adopt gameplay adapted to the game’s nuances in the current decade. For example, practicing drills of a typical 3rd shot recently helped someone win a strategic match. Not only is it suitable for training, but it can also help you win a trivia or two.

Their numerous pickleball camps for 2025 are tagged as Beginner (2.0 to 2.9), Intermediate (3.0 to 4.0), and Advanced (3.6 to 4.5). These camps are kind of a hot deal, so register for one near you before they sell out.

4. Tyson McGuffin Camps

For people looking to learn from one of the best players in the game, the Tyson McGuffin Signature Camps of 2025 are the most suitable choice.

In his signature camps this year, he is expected to provide participants with an insight into his mindset, preparation, game-face habits, training, and other tips and tricks.

Watching a world-renowned player get into the game’s gimmicks up close is a unique opportunity and can teach one loads about the mindset of the people who are the best at what they do. We believe this camp is an invaluable experience for all learners to sign up for at least once.

What will set Tyson McGuffin Camps apart is a master’s hands-on approach to coaching, which includes personalized instruction, drills, and gameplay analysis.

Participants receive feedback and guidance from Tyson, allowing them to make immediate improvements and see tangible results in their game.

5. The PPA Tours Pickleball Camp

The PPA Tours Pickleball Camps are one of the most practical camps on our list, providing professional players the opportunity to enhance their skills before a competition.

PPA Tours Pickleball Camp

Hosted by the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), these camps give the participants world-class instruction from some of the top players in the sport.

The PPA Tours, in addition to hosting pickleball tournaments across the country, also provides pickleball camps for participants right before a tournament at the very same venue as the tournament.

The PPA Pickleball Camps offer a comprehensive curriculum covering essential techniques such as base foundation, transitioning, and strategic gameplay, ensuring participants are tournament-ready.

A lot of my personal experience at PPA camps has been great. Since they happen right before the tournament at its venue, they help in grounding oneself and getting comfortable on the competitive court.

Camp sessions run from 8 am to 12 pm over a period of two days, and I have benefitted from the intensive training they tailor to each skill level.

While signing up, you must choose between camps designed for 2.5/3.0 or 3.5/4.0 skill levels, ensuring targeted instruction for your needs. Beware, though, because limited spots are available for each camp, so secure your place swiftly to avoid missing out.
